Strength Tip!

Do you know how important rest times in your strength routine? They should be treated the same way you treat a rep! Allowing the body to rest in between sets gives it time to produce more energy so you can get the most out of your reps.



· The amount of time you rest in between sets depends on your goals. If you are doing heavy weight and your goal is strength (1-6 rep range), then you want to rest for 2-4 minutes.


· If you’re trying to grow your muscles bigger (8-12 rep range) then you’ll want to rest for 60-90 seconds.



· For muscular endurance (12-20 rep range), you’ll only want to rest for 30 seconds in between sets.
